Art Hooker is a social entrepreneur, creative strategist, filmmaker, and leadership development expert with extensive experience in storytelling, innovation, and social impact initiatives. He is the founder and principal of New Metropolitan, a social design and transmedia studio that partners with organizations, businesses, and communities to create meaningful change through leadership development, media, learning, and innovation.
Over the years, Art has consulted, designed, and produced campaigns and creative content for globally recognized organizations including Herman Miller, Verizon, The White House, and the American Heart Association. His work is informed by more than a decade of qualitative research across five continents, focusing on creativity, culture, leadership, and social movements.
In 2017, he founded Hope Labs Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to building innovative collaborations between individuals, corporations, civic institutions, and nonprofit organizations. He has also been actively involved in community engagement, reconciliation initiatives, leadership training, and business innovation projects across the United States and internationally.
Art Hooker is also an award-winning producer and creative leader whose work spans film, theater, digital storytelling, and learning design.
